New home fire sprinkler installation in Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana and Ontario

The big tracts bring their own sprinkler contractor. The new install calls from the west valley come from custom builds on foothill lots in Rancho Cucamonga, infill and rebuild lots in Fontana and Ontario, and owner-builder projects where the general contractor does not have a sprinkler sub. Every one needs a 13D system designed for the lot and accepted by the fire authority before final.

City water is the norm here, so most systems feed from the domestic service, sometimes with a meter upsize. High ceilings and open plans change head selection and pressure. Foothill lots in a hazard zone get an access and water review alongside the sprinkler layout. Plans file with the city fire authority for the lot, or with San Bernardino County Fire Community Safety for unincorporated land.

Get the sprinkler contractor in early. The meter size and the ceiling design are cheap to settle on paper and expensive to settle after drywall.
